Bailout Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Bailout app ("Bailout", "we", "our", or "the app") handles your information. Bailout is designed to be a privacy-first tool: nearly everything happens on your own device.

1. Data we do not collect

Bailout does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

Bailout does not place real phone calls, send messages, or access your carrier network. The "incoming call" you schedule is a simulated alert rendered entirely by the app on your own device.

2. What happens on your device

3. In-app purchases

Bailout offers an optional one-time purchase ("Bailout Pro — Lifetime", a non-consumable in-app purchase). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Purchase data is handled by RevenueCat

To verify and restore your purchase, Bailout uses RevenueCat, Inc., a third-party service. When you make a purchase, RevenueCat processes an anonymized purchase receipt and a randomly generated app user ID to determine whether you are entitled to the Pro unlock. This is the only network request the app makes, and it is used solely to deliver and restore the feature you purchased. RevenueCat's handling of this data is governed by RevenueCat's own privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Bailout itself does not see or store your payment details, credit card number, or Apple ID. All payment information is handled directly by Apple.

4. Advertising and tracking

Bailout contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking SDKs (aside from the purchase-verification service described above). We do not build profiles, sell data, or share information with data brokers.

5. Data retention and security

Because Bailout does not operate any servers or accounts, there is no personal data for us to retain. The only limited data processed is the anonymized purchase receipt handled by RevenueCat for purchase verification and restoration, as described in Section 3.

6. Children's privacy

Bailout is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your rights

Because Bailout collects no personal information directly, there is generally nothing for you to access or delete on our side. For any questions about purchase records, you can manage your purchases and subscriptions directly through your Apple ID. If you believe a third-party service (such as RevenueCat) holds data about you, you may exercise your rights under that service's own privacy policy.

8. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
